Indian railway ministry starts Buddha Parikrama Express to promote Buddha temples in the country. This train starts at the occasion of International Buddha Festival and it has 13 coaches. Madan Lal Khurana, Central Minister for tourism speaks about the Buddha Parikrama Express. He says, "Buddhists from all over the globe want to come to Buddhist temples in India once in their lifetime this is why I decided that every year we will celebrate Buddha Festival in our country." This train will run between Howrah and Bodhgaya and it will pass through all the important Buddhists destination in India.
