Nitish Kumar, Indian politician launches Swarn Shatabdi Express between Delhi to Lucknow. Swarn Shatabdi is launched with upgraded passenger facilities and it will take less time to reach Lucknow from Delhi. The coaches of Swarn Shatabdi was produced in Germany. "We have brought the coaches with good facilities that's why the production has been started in Kapurthala rail factory and we are planning to bring more coaches with the same technology." The coaches are capable to run on the speed of 160 km per hour but the government plant to run them on 130 km per hour.
