Photographer Prabuddha Dasgupta talks about his book 'Ladakh: India's frontier wilderness'

Prabuddha Dasgupta says "I didn't think of doing a book on Ladakh it just happened. I went to Ladakh in 1995 and I didn't have any thought of going there or doing photography in Ladakh which could then be collated into a book. I went to Ladakh for a commercial assignment and I had heard about Ladakh from many friends and colleagues who had been visiting Ladakh for years but when I reached there I almost sort of had a revulsion for that place. The first thought that I had after reaching there was that I should immediately book a flight and go back to Delhi because that place is so unfamiliar as the landscape and the climate of that place is inhospitable due to which I came back.
