Tibetans dress up in their traditional costume 'chuba' on the occassion of Losar. The expatriates inspite of being estranged from their birthplace for years still continue to preserve their traditions and cultures. Chuba is a long-sleeved loose coat and can be worn by both men and women. The men's version is however shorter and paired with pants underneath.
