Residents scout the coastal areas in Kendrapara as waves start crashing into the embankments on the beach. Huge waves crashing into the shore. One can hear the strong winds. Cyclone Amphan from the Indian Ocean hit the Bay of Bengal coast in May 2020. The coastal Indian states of Odisha and West Bengal suffered heavy losses. The cyclone also left a trail of destruction and loss of lives.
