The Vilayati or foreign Keekar / Kikar tree has attacked endemic indigenous trees in north India and in large parts of the Aravalli range, and become widespread to the point of being a nuisance. Also, see a wild Euphorbia plant in flower - this is the same family as the Poinsettia plant made famous by its Christmas association. This Euphorbia grows wild on the Delhi Ridge and in the Aravalli range.
