Jamshedpur Co-operative College turned into a battleground when students vandalised college property to oppose the appointment of the new professor-in-charge. Around 100 students, most of who are Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) supporters, trooped to the Circuit House campus around 12.30pm to oppose the appointment of S.S. Razi as the new professor-in-charge after the sudden suspension of former principal R.K. Das. The agitators damaged chairs and desks and broke windowpanes. Source: www.telegraphindia.
