Shahrukh Khan: It was fun to wear bell-bottoms after 20 years. The story of Main Hoo Na was written 2-3 years before but we could not film the movie due to various reasons, movies produced by my own production house were not doing great so we didn't have the money to make this film. There were issues with casting for a year. So, this film was written much before the situation came to this relationship has reached right now, but I think it's a sign of the time, one cannot make a film 2 or -3 years ago, hoping that something good had come out of this relationship and it has. So we feel really thrilled that we had a rather topical film, we didn't know if it was topical or not, it was a good thought, now it has become topical also so it is quite nice.
