A winter garden spread of Mesembryanthemum (which open by day and close by night), Cineraria and red poppies with white-edged petals. What is that unusual red flower? Please help us identify it! Stocks add fragrance to the garden, with their heady cinnamon fragrance. Ranunculus add splashes of multiple colours. Camellias are related to the tea plant but only belong to the same family really. Shirley Poppies bring an orange and yellow cheeriness to our Delhi garden, while pink azaleas bring a hint of the Rhododendron family to the plains. Dianthus is a common garden bed flowering plant.
