Rabbi Shergill wears dark shades indoors and tells us of his early days in creating film music : "I met Anand Kumar in Delhi at a MTV Party. When I realized they were open to giving total creative freedom. We grew up in Delhi, and have no aspirations about films. My aspirations are to create pop music. I find that I have just started my career. Once I decide to put my name next to any product, and I'm writing it, then it becomes my responsibility to work with the character, script and story. I am an artiste. How can I describe my own music? I do not label my music. I leave that to music companies."
