An Indian Classical singer Nabendu Bhattacharya from Bengal performs at an Indian television. He sings Ganesh Vandana on occasion on Ganesh Chaturthi. Mr Nabendu, hails from Kolkata. He began his training under the guidance of Late Pt. Prasun Banerjee and Late Pt. Narayan Rao Joshi and was under the guidance of Pt. Ajoy Chakraborty. He has a BComm from the University of Calcutta and Masters in Arts from Rabindra Bharati University in Kolkata specializing in Vocal Music. He is a devoted follower of "Patiala Gayaki" style and is also trained in playing the Tabla. His Khayal , Thumri, Bhajan, and Bengali Raga based songs are acclaimed in his many performances in India and overseas in concerts held in Mauritius, Germany, Holland, Switzerland, Paris, Bangladesh and USA since 1990.
