A group of migrant workers who had just arrived in Bareilly, UP are made to sit in the middle of the road near a bus stop. The workers are then sprayed with chemical disinfectants by individuals in Tyvek suits. Listen to the traffic police personnel telling the workers crouching on the ground to close their eyes, mouth, ears and nose. The same disinfectant can be seen sprayed on the surfaces of shops, buildings near the road. An interview with a police officer on the incident of spraying workers with disinfectant meant for surfaces. The police officer when grilled by media agrees that the sanitising was meant for surfaces near busy bus stops. He still sticks to his side of just the foam reaching the people when it is evident that the workers were sprayed with the disinfectant. This footage
