Kathi Kebab is very popular street food. It is a chaap consisting of chunks of Soya, jimikand, shimla mirch, mushroom, onions. This chaap is dipped in a batter of besan (ground gram or pea) and fried. Chap is primarily a North Indian delight and is considered equivalent of a non-vegetarian dish. This is because it has high protein content and feels like a non-veg when chewed.
