Landour institutions that are famous are Prakash's shop, for its cheese and jams (and occasionally bread and cinnamon rolls!), Deodar Hotel (Dev dar Woods), the Landour Language School, Kellogg church, Woodstock school, St. Paul's cathedral, the Jabbarkhet bhooth bangla, the cemetery, the north face walk, doorbin point at Lal Tibba, Char dukaani and much much more. More recently, Sanjay Narang's Rokeby Manor has also become something of a modern institution in Landour, with the great food at Emily's. But Prakash at Sister's Bazar / Bazaar still makes the best apricot, strawberry, plum and backberry jam, markets local mountain honey, makes the best peanut butter and when he's in a good mood - the finest cheddar cheese as well!
