This baoli is locked by the CISF for safety reasons, as it is rumored to have large poisonous snakes in it. When you visit the baoli there are some prison like broken structure at one side of the steps. The baoli stone said - "This ancient step well consists of an octagonal shaft about 14m deep with an adjoining tank measuring 6.1mX6.1m. On the north and west there are flights of steps with arched apartments on either side. INA officers Shah Nawaz Khan, P.K. Sehgal and G.S. Dillon were confined here in 1945-46 during the freedom movement."
