A quiet market street in an Indian city remains largely deserted during the Covid-19 lockdown. Multi-storey commercial buildings line one side of the street, with signs for shops including Chacha Saree Bazar, which advertises sarees and lehengas, along with visible VIP and Safari signage. The paved street and walkway have little to no pedestrian or vehicle activity. On the opposite side, a row of large goods or merchandise is covered with blue and grey tarpaulins beside a line of green trees. The reduced activity and closed commercial spaces associated with the Covid-19 lockdown.
