Leaving Glasshouse on the Ganges managed by the Neemrana Hotels group, one drives along the beautiful state highway from Badrinath down to the plains, soon hitting Rishikesh. An evening drive from the foothills of the Himalaya, along the Ganga or Ganges river, further into the plains, from along the Ganga after Shivpuri where the river starts to enter the plains, to the plains town of Haridwar in Uttarakhand. Heavy truck, bus and passenger vehicle traffic marks this otherwise scenic route.
