A female baya weaver (Ploceus philippinus), perches on the end of a dry branch with a caterpillar between its beak. While a male baya weaver on top of its own nest seems to be giving final touches to their nest. The female enters the nest through the tubular opening of the nest. Calls between males and females go back and forth. While a female preens itself thoroughly and is back with another meal between her beak.
