Dhunuchi naach and traditional dhak drumming take place inside a decorated Durga Puja pandal in Chittaranjan Park, New Delhi. Dancers perform the ritual in the central hall as a dhaki plays a large traditional Bengali drum decorated with white tufts. At the far end, an elaborate idol display features Goddess Durga with Lakshmi, Saraswati, Ganesha and Kartikeya. A large crowd of devotees and visitors watches from the ground floor and upper balconies, with many recording the performance on their smartphones. Arched interiors and hanging chandeliers decorate the venue.
