Ice climbing as an adventure sport can be most thrilling. Seen here on a glistening ice face are a group of Indian climbers putting on crampons and mountaineering boots, before clankily going up the ice field, in their ironmongery. There is not much difference in the techniques that are required for ice climbing and for rock and snow climbing. Ice is also as hard and rough as any surface of a rock and numerous methods of rock climbing can be utilized to challenge any ice barrier.
