Preethi Singh, singer of 'Lakdi Ki Kathi' song speaks about her career. She says, "When I was 2-3 years old I recorded a Shabad and R. D. Burman listened to my voice, at that time my father used to work for him there so he said that start and end of the song would be sung by Preethi along with a paragraph. When we were a kid we were confident we were not aware of the people around we just have to go and sing and as the age increases we start to lose confidence. I have interest in music from the beginning. My father, mother and grandparents want me to be a singer. Raam Laxman gave me the second chance in Saatwan Aasman for an English song 'Where is the time to hate'."
