Modern houses can be now seen in the traditionally tribal villages of Ziro Valley, even though most of them retain the local flavour during the construction of the house. Apatanis make traditionally houses out of bamboo, which are slightly raised on a platform. But with modern times, they have adapted to the comforts of modernity and gradually shifted from bamboo to concrete. The fertile land of Ziro gives a incredible yield majorly owing to the progressive techniques of the Apatanis. An early morning scenario has a very misty Ziro Valley with its prominent paddy fields and bamboo and Pine cultivation. Various birds can be seen in the early morning all over the Ziro valley. The Apatani, or Tanii, are a tribal group of people living in the Ziro valley in the Lower Subansiri district of Arun
