The success celebration of the comedy film Malamaal Weekly brought together its cast and crew, including director Priyadarshan, producer Shailendra M. Singh, and actors Om Puri, Rajpal Yadav, Paresh Rawal, Reema Sen, Arbaaz Khan, and Riteish Deshmukh. Riteish Deshmukh shared that shooting the film was a memorable experience as the entire team stayed together in a village while filming was completed in just 45 days. With limited phone use and only a few television channels, the cast bonded like a family during the shoot. Rajpal Yadav said that audience appreciation gives actors the energy to do better work, adding that the film’s success belongs to the viewers. Reema Sen described the film’s hit status as a huge achievement for everyone involved, while Priyadarshan also spoke about the film
