While we were in Ghandruk we were made to taste the beautiful cuisine of the Gurung tribe. Their hospitality was evident in the smallest of gestures by the J.B. Gurung or Black Tea as known locally and his family. The fish being prepared here is locally called Magoor which is similar to Catfish. After marinading the fish she fries it to perfection before resting it so that she could add the fish to the gravy that she prepares later.
