Dussehra in Mussoorie Mall Road, Picture Palace, where hundreds of people gather to witness one of the most important festivals in the Hindu calendar. The procession features beautifully decorated floats carrying artists dressed as Lord Shiva and Goddess Kali, who greet the crowd as they move through the streets. The illuminated chariot, colourful decorations, devotional music, and enthusiastic spectators create a festive atmosphere throughout the evening. The celebration concludes with the burning of a giant Ravana effigy, symbolising the victory of good over evil. As fireworks light up the night sky and the effigy goes up in flames, people gather to watch and record the moment on their phones, marking the traditional end of the Dussehra festivities.
