East Delhi is one of the important election areas in New Delhi. Approximately 24 lakh voters decide the future of 20 candidates in East Delhi. The primary competition is between BJP candidate Lal Bihari Tiwari and H. L. Kapoor from Congress. Lal Bihari Tiwari has won the last two elections.
