The camel plays a very important role in the cultural life of the people of Rajasthan. The camel is an animal though, it has many advantages. The most popular love epic of Rajasthan is "Dhola-Maru Ra dooha and it describes how the heroine sends her massages of love through a camel. The camel is widely visible in Rajasthan literature. This love epic makes us feel that from Princes to Dhandhi (the messenger), everyone used camels and they played an important in their lives.
