The 87th Indian Air Force Day was celebrated on 8 October 2019 at Air Force Station Hindan with a spectacular air display showcasing the strength and precision of the Indian Air Force. The event featured breathtaking aerial manoeuvres, flypasts, and coordinated formations by frontline fighter jets and transport aircraft. A major highlight of the celebration was the participation of the newly inducted Boeing AH-64 Apache attack helicopters and Boeing CH-47 Chinook heavy-lift helicopters. Their powerful presence in the sky symbolised the modernisation and enhanced combat capability of the Air Force.
