On 10th October 2018, Indian Meteorological Department issued a warning in Odisha and Andhra Pradesh about the force that could possibly hit the coast in the next 42 hours. Fishermen cleared the coast as soon as possible in order to avoid any loss of life. They mounted their boats on bamboo poles by passing a bamboo through two rope moved on each side of the boat. With the help of fellow fishermen, the boat is moved away from the coast on their shoulders. The tides kept getting stronger just as the wind started roaring.
