Most tea factories in Munnar still run on stashes of fuelwood felled from the Eurcalyptus trees around the plantations. You can even see tall Eucalyptus trees behind the factory's chimney as it spews smoke into the clean Nilgiris air. The tea plantations make up for the smoke, however, with their vast slopes of green Camellia bushes.
