Crowds gathered outside the main gate of the Sim's Park in Ooty, wait eagerly to enjoy the beauty of this park. Tourists visit to experience more than a thousand species of trees, plants and flowers found at this well maintained botanical gardens. This luscious garden has a replica of the world map in flora available in the Sim's Park. The captivating Nilgiri Hills of Coonoor offers a lot of interesting and beautiful spots. Other than the tourists visiting the park, monkeys tend to make a guest appearance as well. This is an unusual park-cum-botanical garden that was developed around the natural contours of the land more than a hundred years ago by Mr. J.D. Sims and Major Murray in the year 1874.
