In Jammu & Kashmir, self-employment has tremendous potential. Whether it is horticulture, agriculture, tourism, education or other emerging sectors, opportunities are expanding every year. Many people believe money is the main problem, but that is not true. There is *no shortage of funds*. Banks are fully prepared to finance good projects and support youth who want to start their own ventures. The real challenge is not money — it is connectivity and skill development. We still do not have a complete rail link; most of our accessibility depends on the national highway. That increases logistics issues.
