Aizawl bazaar has everything from a huge vegetable market to roadside shops that sell clothes and accessories. This is where you get to see the local people in their traditional wears. The best thing you want to take back from Aizawl are souvenir items made of bamboo or cane and handicraft products. The traditional wrap-around skirt called Paun in Mizo dialect is one of the most colourful and beautiful products in Mizoram. A good Paun starts from Rs. 2,000 onwards. Mizoram also borders with Myanmar, and therefore, products from Myanmar are available through out the state.
