Lathmar Holi, celebrated in Nandgaon, is one of the most unique and lively traditions of India. Every year, men from Barsana come to Nandgaon to playfully reenact the legend of Krishna and Radha. Women, armed with sticks (lathis), chase the men away, while the crowd bursts into laughter and cheers. The atmosphere is electric, filled with the rhythmic beats of *band baaja*, and local Holi songs set the perfect festive backdrop. The festival is a riot of colors—participants drench each other with vibrant powders, while joyous faces capture the essence of togetherness. Children run around, smeared in pinks, yellows, and greens, while elders join in with a hearty smile.
