Crackers no doubt make for a great spectacle and sound and light experience on Diwali. The festive season which starts with navaratri ends with Diwali and witnesses a maddening expenditure marathon. People from all classes spend as per their pockets during the season to celebrate in the best possible way. Crackers are one way to celebrate the happy time but they cost a bomb. The soaring inflation has in one way or the other touched everyones life in India. Still people buy expensive crackers and burn them. A better way to celebrate the festival would be sharing a part of your fortune with the needy rather than burning your money and causing pollution. Vijayadashami also known as Dasara, is one of the most important festivals celebrated in various forms, across India, Nepal and Bangladesh.
