Indian Army battle tanks in action against Pakistan during the war of freedom for Bangladesh. The Indian Army and Indian Air Force got together to put up an exemplary fight to free Bangladesh from Pakistan. Jawans of India fought and succeeded in their mission on the ground. Dhaka was surrounded from all four sides. The surrender of General Niazi marked the end of the war. Bangladesh Zindabad cries rent the air. Indira Gandhi announced to the world that Dhaka is now the capital of the newly freed nation of Bangladesh.
