Yash Chopra says "I feel like its very important because at an International Film Festival you come across a lot of people. You get to see a lot of wonderful films from all over the world. It is an intersection of filmmaking from this country to that country. This is the only chance we meet people and see their films, learn from these films and we also are able to market our films in territories where our films don't go. After a long time, this festival is happening in Bombay as it has been happening in Madras, Delhi, etc and I saw Cinema Paradiso, it's a wonderful film and one film I liked was a Turkish film."
