The Indian rhinoceros (Rhinoceros unicornis) or the one-horned rhinoceros is the second largest land mammal in Asia, second in size only to the Asiatic Elephant. It may look and also be an aggressive animal but is a grazer, eating grasses and aquatic plants. Kaziranga National Park is situated in the North-Eastern State of Assam in India.
