The Coastal Plains form a part of our physical division. They are flat areas of land located near the sea or ocean. The coastline of India is divided into the Western Coastal Plains and the Eastern Coastal Plains. The Western Coastal Plain is situated between the Western Ghats and the Arabian Sea. They extended from Gujarat to Kerala. The Malabar Coast, the Gujarat Coast and the Konkan Coast are the three divisions of the Western Coastal Plains.
