Weddings are not just about 7 circles around the holy fire anymore as everything related to a wedding has become a designer affair whether it is a wedding attire, jewellery or anything else remotely associated to a wedding. The wedding industry has become one of the fastest growing markets in India which is clearly evident after the success of the Jewellery and Indian wedding attire exhibition. Currently, the Indian wedding industry is over Rs 100,000 crore and is growing at 25 to 30 per cent annually. The estimated cost of a wedding with no expenses spared could be between Rs 5 lakh to Rs 5 crore, in India.
