Ambedkar Jayanti Celebration at NITRD Mahurli, New Delhi Dr. Pravesh Yadav, Superintendent of NITRD New Delhi, with his team, celebrated the birthday of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar Jayanti at NITRD, and today they will remove the trash from the roadside, and their message to citizens of India is Keep Clean and Green City. Ambedkar Jayanti, also known as Bhim Jayanti, is observed on 14 April to commemorate the memory of B. R. Ambedkar, an Indian politician and social reformer. It marks Ambedkar's birthday, which was 14 April 1891. Some in India also refer to his birthday as Equality Day.
