Auroville is a quiet, forested camp in between Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry which was founded in the late 1960s by a follower of Shri Aurobindo. The camp is a model township that aims to create a space for individuals of different nationalities and communities. It is called a universal town and the City of Dawn. The residents of this camp are called Aurovillians and they live a lifestyle based on sustainability, harmony, peace, etc. This footage is part of the broadcast stock footage archive of Wilderness Films India Ltd., the largest collection of HD imagery from South Asia.
