M A George, an Athletics Coach (retd.) of Sports Authority of India hails from Kodanad, a village in Ernakulam district of Kerala. He belongs to a sports family with two of his brothers being international athletes, another brother a physical education teacher and sister a University level athlete. He worked in various schemes of SAI for the past 30 years producing 20+ international athletes and leading Indian team in 5 international events. As a coach he was instrumental in bringing home the most valued medals like Silver in CommonWealth Games Delhi, 2010 ( M A Prajusha, Long Jump), Gold in Asian Games Guangzhou, China, 2010 (Joseph G Abraham, 400m Hurdles), Silver in Asian Games Jakarta, 2018 (Neena V, Long Jump), Silver in Asian Athletics Championship Bhubaneswar, 2017 (Neena V, Long Ju
