Seen on a grey monsoon day in August 2021 is the famous mausoleum in white, as seen in 4K video. Is it Taj Mahal, Agra truly beautiful or is it over-rated? The marble is well chosen, one would say. The waterways well laid out, in typical Mughal style. The red sandstone typical of the western region. The Taj Mahal is well - rather well done. What more can one say? It has also lasted rather well, so a big 'good job' to the thousands of workers and the contractors - way better longevity than the structures of today! Those minarets and those latticed walls with semi-precious stones. What exquisite planning, design and more than anything - execution. Not just execution of the architectural plan but also of the hands of the workers, maybe? But still not the most perfect dome. That honour goes to
