Sumi school students - Sumians - put up a great show in Sikkim! More accurately, the tunes being played appear to be the Skye Boat Song and Auld Lang Sine - both Scottish songs! A bagpiper band performs during the Sikkim winter carnival in India. Viewer Naren Limbu rightly points out that "They are Gurkhas. Listen to the tunes of bagpipes - they are all from Nepali songs. Salute to Gurkhas from all over the world and a celebration of 200 years of the Gurkhas." Sikkim gears up for its biggest event, Sikkim Winter Carnival 2014.
