Atri is one of the famous and well-known hot water sulphur springs in Orissa situated in Khurda district, Orissa. It is located in the middle of the paddy fields surrounds with a distinct odor of sulphur. Constant temperature of 55 degree is maintained by the water at the Atri hot water spring throughout the day. This hot water is reserved in an artificial pond for the use of people. The circumference of the reservoir is 10 feet with the depth of 15 feet. The water is very clear where one can easily see stones inside the pond. It is crystal clear water which is believed to have medical properties having curing powers. It is also famous for refreshing one's body and soul.
