Anup Jalota, Indian Bhajan singer speaks about technology in song recording. He says, "It is very useful in recordings there are many such techniques which are not there earlier. Now we can shift first paragraph of any song or mix any paragraph with another also we can cut and paste any line which had been sung already anywhere but according to me the soul of the song was when all the singers sing together in a studio and all the functions used to be manual but all the singers used to sing collectively. We are becoming technically rich but soul is missing in songs."
