Team orange at Bagwal festival of Devidhura Champawat, Uttarakhand With much revelry and camaraderie, the grotesque stone pelting festival gets off to a start as villagers converge at the Bagwal Festival grounds in Devidhura Champawat, for the stone pelting fight, to the chanting of religious texts and lines by a pujari priest. Colourfully attired people of Uttarakhand begin to gather at the Bagwal Festival in Devidhura, Champawat. Through the shifting monsoon mists one comes across an otherwise enchanting Himalayan village with a strange story to tell each season during the time of the rakhi festival.
