The National Highway runs inside the Kaziranga National Park in Assam which makes animal crossings through the national highway a common thing while driving past Kaziranga. Flooded areas and the animals in the park are spotted crossing the highway. Herds of elephants and deer are seen crossing while traffic is halted at both ends of the road. Road kill is a frequent occurrence in Assam, as wild animals cross busy highways...
