Writer and Indian filmmaker Hrishikesh talks about pollution, cultural pollution in Bombay and the cast of his films whom he refers to as artists and his films. He speaks of the future of 'Middle Road Cinema' in India and on the female cast he has worked with. Hrishikesh Mukherjee: " You know there are more cars in Bombay now. Thousands of cars have been added to Bombay. You see pollution. So this is cultural pollution. Thanks to television and modern day films... We are having a cultural pollution in the country, middle road cinema is gasping. Nothing. They are all human beings. Why you consider them stars?
